5 Things To Do On a Lazy Day

Sleep In
The first step to any lazy day is of course sleeping in. Whether this means waking up at 8 or waking up at noon, your body will thank you for the extra amount of sleep.

Watch a New Movie With Someone
I always love going to the movie theaters to watch a new movie. The mixture of movie popcorn, friends, and of course flicks, has always been my happy place. But of course, if watching a movie curled up on our couch is more your style, then more power to you.

Catch Up On Your Beauty Routine
A lazy day is the perfect time to slap on a face mask, put some hydrating oils into your hair, and relax. I also take advantage of lazy days by doing thing that require more time, such as self tanning or whitening my teeth.

Cook
If you’re more of a health nut (weirdo), you’ll probably find yourself wanting to meal prep on a lazy day. On the other hand, you could make a comforting meal to eat while watching your favorite movies or shows, wrapped up in a blanket.

Enjoy the day
The best way to have a lazy day is to be present. This could mean turning off your phone, or reflecting on what’s going on. Whatever it means to you, it’s important to remember that you deserve this break and to relax.

What to Include in Your Bullet Journal

When it comes to getting organized, one of the best things I've found is bullet journaling. I can put everything that's on my mind onto paper. If you're thinking about starting a bullet journal, I strongly recommend it, and I've come up with a list of things that could be added to anyone's bullet journal.  Monthly Calendar Keeping a monthly calendar can help a lot when it comes to remembering due dates for that specific month. It also helps being able to see everything that is going on the upcoming month with one glance. Habit Tracker This can help you with goals you want to accomplish, or healthy habits you want to create. You are able to map out exactly the things you want to do everyday, and see how often you actually do them. Divider I find that making dividers for each month lets me focus on each individual month. Also, creating the divider each month gets the creative juices flowing for planning that month out. I like to draw...

5 Ways to Get More Organized

Set reasonable goals: Make sure these goals are specific and attainable in a short amount of time. If you need to, you can split each goal into mini goals, thus making it even easier to see your progress. Get an agenda: Whether it’s a pocket agenda, a bullet journal, or just an old notebook, it’s important to be able to keep track of your day. It’s also satisfying to make lists and be able to cross each one off as you go. Declutter: The simplest step is sometimes the hardest. I always make excuses as to why I need an item that I’ve had for years. The best rule of thumb I’ve found is this: if you have more than one of it, or if you haven’t used it in a year, you don’t need it. Doing just this can make you feel vastly more organized than before. Change up storage if needed: If you find yourself always piling your papers on your desk rather than in a drawer, consider putting a folder there as a designated place for papers. Another tip is to put things that you’ve lo...
